Custom properties are fields that can be added to any show, event or item to display information about that show to online clients. Custom properties can also be hidden for filtering purposes. Filtering a list of shows or even your calendar will be discussed in the advanced section of each article.

Display Sequence allows you to organize your custom properties by assigning them a number, with zero being the top item on the list and higher numbers placed lower. The group containing the lowest display number will be the first group displayed. If all items are left at 0 the system will display both groups and items alphabetically.

Default to Hidden allows you to make this property invisible to customers online. This setting ties in with filters which will be discussed in the advanced custom properties section at the bottom of this article. Leave the Enabled box checked or this property will not be active on your items and events.

Suggested Values allows you to create a list of often-used properties that can be chosen from a drop-down when adding to an individual show. Checking the Allow Override Of Suggested Values box allows users to type their own values in addition to selecting one of the suggested values.
