Creating a Sales Line Type
How to add a Sales Line Type to your system in ATS App or Web Portal
A Sales Line Type is a subset of a Sales Line which are the broad categories under which money is collected. Admission and Premium Admission are both Sales Line Types that exist together under the Sales Line of Event.
New Sales Line Type in ATS App
Begin by Logging In to Agile Ticketing Solutions (ATS) administration and find the Settings Folder under your Corporate Organization House. In settings find and open the Sales Line Type Menu and in the Sales Line Type field right click and select New.
General Tab
On the General tab the first item you need to choose is a Sales Line Category which should be the general heading under which you will build your Sales Line Type. Even Sales Live Categories come in a variety of levels so pick the one that is most closely related to the item you need a new Sales Line Type for. This drop down is formatted so that you are either picking a category directly or that category is in brackets to the right of a subcategory that falls under it.

Event Admission will only be available if you selected the Event Sales Line Category and should be used if this will be used to sell tickets.
Lastly make sure that Enabled is checked or this will not be an option to use and click OK to save and commit your new Sales Line Type. You can use the Notes tab if you think someone may one day need to know what this Sales Line Type is for.
